As part of its promotional activities for the 2010 Notting Hill Carnival, Mobile Media Communications wanted to provide chargeable music content to carnival attendees and others who would be exposed to relevant advertising.
Using the Mobile Flow platform, a premium shortcode service was set up within hours. Customers were invited to send a text message to a premium shortcode / keyword in order to receive a 90 minute exclusively mixed music track. Content could be streamed to the phone or downloaded for repeat plays.
